Who we are

botbridge is a SecondLife project operated by Alexander Pixels. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Linden Research, Inc., Second Life, or SmartBots.

Using botbridge

You must own the SecondLife avatar you sign in with and be old enough to enter contracts in your jurisdiction. One account per avatar. Don't impersonate anyone else.

botbridge products are sold as scripts on the SmartBots Bots Playground store. You purchase a script there, attach it to your bot, and pair it with your account by pasting your linking code into the script's settings.

Refunds

Sales and refunds go through SmartBots under their store policies. If you request a refund there, the script will stop working on your bots — you'll need to re-purchase it to use it again.

In some cases we may offer a refund at our discretion. Reach out via the live chat or [email protected] if you think you have a case.

Your responsibilities

• Treat your linking code like a password — anyone with it can attach a bot to your account.
• You're responsible for everything your bot does on your instructions (IMs sent, payments, group actions).
• Follow the SecondLife Terms of Service, SmartBots' terms, and applicable law.
• Don't use botbridge to spam, harass, mislead or otherwise harm other residents.

No liability for things outside our control

botbridge is provided “as is” with no warranties. We rely on SmartBots, SecondLife and other third-party services staying online — we accept no liability for outages, downtime, lost messages, lost Linden Dollars, missed payments, data loss, or any other issue caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid botbridge directly in the previous twelve months — which for almost all users is L$0, because purchases go through SmartBots.

Suspension and ending your account

We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service. You can leave at any time by removing the linking code from your scripts and emailing [email protected] to delete your account.

Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above changes when we do. Continued use after that counts as acceptance.
