Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-20

The short version: we don't collect personal data. botbridge is a SecondLife project not affiliated with Linden Research, Inc., Second Life, or SmartBots.

What we hold on you

Your account is identified by your SecondLife name and avatar UUID — that's it. We don't ask for your real name, email, address, payment details or anything else.

When you pair a bot we also store its SecondLife name and UUID and the webhook details the script sends us so we can talk to it.

If you contact us via the live chat or email, you'll naturally share whatever you put in the message (for example your email address, if you want a reply).

Cookies

We set strictly necessary cookies only — a session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF cookie to protect form submissions. No analytics, no advertising, no trackers.

Third parties

  • SmartBots — we use their HTTP API to deliver your login code in-world and to talk to playground scripts. Anything we send them is governed by their privacy policy.
  • Tawk.to — the live chat widget on this site is provided by Tawk.to. If you message us through it, their privacy policy applies to that conversation.
  • Hosting — botbridge runs on managed infrastructure with standard server-level access.

We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

Deleting your data

Your data is yours. Email [email protected] and we'll delete your account and everything attached to it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above changes when we do.
